"Smart city": город будущего

В декабре, во время работы на Московском Урбанистическом Форуме, мне довелось познакомиться с Томасом Мадрейтером. Томас возглавляет департамент градостроительства Вены и проект “Smart City Wien”. Конечно, я достаточно волновалась, узнав, что мне доведётся в течение форума быть ассистентом-переводчиком человека, занимающего такой высокий пост. Но я переживала напрасно: в жизни Томас оказался простым, общительным и интересным. Это был его первый визит в Москву и Россию вообще, поэтому в перерыве между мероприятиями форума Томасу было очень интересно погулять по городу и, как урбанисту, прокатиться в московском метро.

Кстати, при проведении небольшой обзорной экскурсии по подземке мне очень пригодились знания, полученные на экскурсии, организованной Департаментом культурного наследия города Москвы и Музеем Московского Метрополитена и субсидируемой Правительством Москвы.

"Smart city": the city of future

Last December, while working at Moscow Urban Forum, I had an opportunity to meet Thomas Madreiter. He is the City of Vienna's Director of Urban Planning and the head of “Smart City Wien” project. No doubt, I felt nervous a bit after I was told I was going to work as an assistant of such a top-level person. But there was no reason to be nervous: in life Thomas is very easygoing, sociable and interesting. It was his first visit to Moscow and to Russia, thus, during the spare time between forum events he looked forward to take a walk in the city center and, as an urbanist, he was keen to take a ride in the Moscow metro.

By the way, to host this mini-excursion in the metro the information I got to know on the excursion, which was organized by the Department of Cultural Heritage and the Moscow Metro Museum and subsidized by the Government of Moscow, came handy.

Every designer possesses a unique conception of a collection. Some represent paintings, others depict things and events and yet others – tell stories. 

Nikolay Krasnikov’s every collection is a character of a great woman with her destiny. It's no coincidence that the designer names his collections after them: Kschessinska, Princess Zoe, Sybille Diplomatique. All of the above are extraordinary personalities with vivid natures, front-women of their times who would go against foundations; they possessed great powers and influence over others by virtue of what they changed the course of history. This is also the type of a woman for whom designer sews: with a virile character, her own opinion, ambitious and knowing what she is worth. 

On March 31st at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia Nikolay introduced his new fall/winter 13/14 collection. The princess and the Lady-in-waiting of the Imperial Russian Court Dorothea Lieven – a spy and the first female diplomat ever – now stands alongside Mathilde Kschessinska and Zoe Paleologue. Alexander I called her Dorothea (not Darya on Russian manner) as there was some sort of invincibility and savageness in it. Alexandre Dumas, Honoré de Balzac, George Gordon Byron worshiped sense and beauty of Princess Lieven, née Benckendorff. Neither could resist her charm the most prudent statesmen: Metternich, George IV, Cunning and Guizot. And she in the meantime applied her thorough virile mind and insidious female speeches to receive secret information and send it to Russia. Lieven was the perfect weapon in the undercover battle and espionage.

У каждого дизайнера существует своё, особое понятие о том, что такое коллекция. У одних это ожившие полотна, у других – изображение вещей и явлений, у третьих – некая история. 

У Николая Красникова каждая коллекция – образ великой женщины с её судьбой. Недаром дизайнер даёт коллекциям их имена: Кшесинская, Принцесса Зоя, дипломатическая Сивилла. Все они – незаурядные личности с яркими характерами, передовые женщины своего времени, ломавшие привычные устои, обладавшие огромным влиянием и властью и менявшие ход истории. Такова и девушка, для которой шьёт модельер: с сильным характером, своим мнением, целеустремлённая, знающая себе цену. 

31 марта на Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia Николай представил свою новую коллекцию сезона осень/зима 2013/14. В один ряд с Матильдой Кшесинской и Софьей Палеолог теперь встала княгиня и фрейлина Российского Императорского двора Дарья Ливен – шпионка и первая в истории женщина дипломат. Александр I звал её Доротеей – именем, в котором слышалось нечто неукротимое. Перед умом и красотой урождённой Бенкендорф благоговели Александр Дюма-отец, Оноре де Бальзак, Джордж Гордон Байрон. Не могли устоять перед её обаянием и самые холодные умы политических мужей: Меттерних, Георг IV, Каннинг и Гизо - а она тем временем использовала свой тонкий мужской ум и коварные женские речи, чтобы получать тайную информацию и передавать её в Россию. Ливен была совершенным оружием тайной борьбы и шпионажа.

HOT NEWS FROM MBFWR: Slava Zaytsev

The opening of the 26th season of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia was marked by Slava Zaytsev’s show. The show gathered in the Moscow Manege a huge number of admirers of the talent of Russian Fashion’s Maestro. The designer remained true to himself and his vivid, recognizable style.

Открытие 26-ого сезона Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia было ознаменовано показом коллекции Вячеслава Зайцева. Показ собрал в ЦВЗ «Манеж» огромное количество почитателей таланта Мэтра русской моды. Дизайнер остался верен себе и своему яркому, узнаваемому стилю.
